As part of its ongoing commitment to increase communications with health care professionals and patients, the Board of Registration in Medicine has established a Speakers Bureau. The environment of health care practice is subject to the same forces of change as is the rest of society. In Massachusetts, there is an explicit commitment to quality assurance in terms of both the individual practitioners and the systems and facilities in which they practice.
Speaking to local groups affords the Board of Registration in Medicine an opportunity to inform citizens and the medical community on licensing, disciplinary, and other health care issues.
